How to integrate Google Analytics for a WordPress Website?

    Integrate Google Analytics for a WordPress Website

    By Adding Google Analytics to your website that helps you track your site about your viewers. Let’s discuss about how to integrate Google Analytics for a WordPress website.

    Google Analytics is available for free in google or we can use Gmail account to sign up. Here are the step by step process for creating a Google Analytics account.

    Step 1: First you need to search for Google analytics in search engine, then you have to open in new tab and sign up the Google analytics.

    If you open once it will be asked to login with your Google account. If you already have a Google or Gmail account, then you can use the same to sign in. If you do not have Google account or Gmail account then go ahead and create a Google account for yourself.

    Step 2: If you sign in with your Gmail account, you will be prompted to a screen like the one below. You have to create a Google analytics with your Gmail account.

    After that process, then you have to give an account name. This name will helps to be used internally, so you can add your business name that you want

    Step 3: If you move to the next page, it will ask you as choice to choose between a site or mobile app. Before selecting the site you have to confirm it.

    Then you have to enter website name, website’s URL, country, and the time zone which is given.

    After entering the details in the page, you have to click on the Next button. There can find the I Agree option. When you click on it, that will brings you an analytic page.

    Step 4: This is the important step to process. So now you have to presented with your Google Analytics tracking code. Now go ahead and copy the tracking code because you will need to enter it in your WordPress site. So that you can attach your website in the Google.Now you have successfully created a Google analytics by using your Gmail Account.

    Step 5: Now you have to install the plugin “Tracking Code Manager” in the wordpress. Go to the settings and open Tracking code manager. . Now Go ahead and click on the HTML tag on the Google Analytics and then copy the HTML code and paste it in the tracking code manager in the wordpress.

    Then you need to click “Standard code tracking in your WordPress” and select the “In the whole website (pages, posts and archives)” and give “Save” option.

    Now you have successfully created an account in the Google Analytics.
